VHS Tapes for Demo

Thanks for the input on the VHS tapes. What is it that you actually use
3DStudio for. I just begining in this new world of 3D animation and see
several applications for making big bucks at it. I'm looking at doing either
arch. fly-thrus or mechanical assemblies (as I am a mechanical engineer by
trade).
Do you utilize the PAR card by DPS that Autoesk recommends, or do you output
the tape using some other means?
