It sounds as if your copy of 3DS.EXE has become corrupted somehow, and the
renderer's data structures are unstable. To correct this, re-install 3DS from
your original master disks. If the problem persists after that, check for a
virus that might be affecting the program. If it persists after THAT, take the
master disks back to your 3DS dealer for a new set.
