Prior to page roll IPAS for 3DS I used Topas for creating any animation that required an object to bend greater than 180 degrees. 3DS still has this limitation but you can do it via the viewpoint IPAS. Match bit map perspective is available in Topas but since R4, 3DS can do it easier. The only thing left is refractive raytracing which, I believe can also be done now with Ray Dream IPAS but I haven't seen it. eg. Glass looks pasty in 3DS where as Topas it looks real because the glass object can use a raytracer refraction to make it look very real. FYI: I use Topas so rarely that I removed it from my HD because, even at today's prices on harddrives I find the space Topas took up better used for 3DS rendered frames <G>
