Colin; I have not been on much lately so this is a rather late response… I would suggest that the previous suggestion of reformating (actually do a full reinstall — that is reprep the drive so that a new RDB with the latest filesystem gets installed on the drive). Also, consider swapping the CIA chips (or replace). Most mouse related problems can be traced to these. Also, it is _NOT_ unusual for a CIA related problem to also be version sensitive (that is the problem in the chip will not manifest itself under all versions of the OS). -bill
