Thanks for your answer to my question about Internet connections. In your directions: Unarchive PPP1.30.lha. There are two versions of ppp.device for different CPU's. Copy one of them to devs:networks/ as ppp.device. I found the ppp.device for my CPU. Where is the devs I'm copying this to? Is it the Devs in my workbench? Do I rename the thing I'm putting in there the networks/ppp.device? If I'm not renaming it networks/ppp.device, where did it get that name? In writing that startnet file. Do I write it in ED then name it startnet? And after I do that where do I put it? How do I find the amitcp:db/interface in order to put the line you mentioned? I know these questions are basic knowledge for most people but I can't read between the lines with my current computer knowledge. A lot of these directions leave out a few basics that beginners like me need to have supplied. Thanks, Joan Hitting fairways and greens!
