Not sure if this message got lost the first time, but here goes: I've never had SCSI troubles bad enough to warrant buying an active terminator, but it's solved the problems of many of my Mac friends. You replace _one_ set of terminators with the active terminator. It then analyzes the bus and sets up optimal termination parameters.
