If you can afford it go for the 030. You will be pleased, I promise! Most come with room for more than the 8 megs of fast Ram, that the plain 1200 has, and most come with a scsi interface or at least for the option later, and about the slowest 030 is 25 mhz, which is at least twice as fast as the 14 mhz 020.
