#Got a Drive !
Was visiting our newly opend "Super" Computer supermarket to-day. Of course
browsed the rows of CD=ROM drives. Came across an SCSI drive that seemed a
bargain at under $200.
It is a CHINON Model CDS-535. Only 2X speed, but the price was right.
Interesting. Packed inside was also one of those external terminators we have
been writing about.
Is there any news of this drive… good, bad or indifferent. I looks very
well made.. Iy also has a little sticker on it, sating that it was an
"Editor's Choice" (PC Magazine).
