3000 & 2.04

Oh boy! ROM time on the A3000! Do you have the ROM tower version of the
A3000? If so you must replace the ROMs on the underside of that little
daughterboard with the 2.04 ROMs. The trick there is to get the daughterboard
off the motherboard without bending the pins, ditto the old ROMs, and then
putting the daughterboard back in the right place without missing any sockets.
Fun!
If you don't have the ROM tower then the ROMs may go directly on the
motherboard or you may be able to (may have to) make a kickstart file on your
harddrive. Someone else here can help you in that case. I hope your A3000
documentation matches your machine better than my docs match mine! <G> Good
