Is this something that has just started, or has the drive always acted this way. If it has always happened, maybe the transfer rates or other drive parameters aren't set right. The accelerator would attempt faster transfers and it could lock up. BTW, is the drive hooked to the accelerator? If so, what do you do when taking the accelerator out?
