I didn't figure you had anything against OS/2 succeeding, but I just
have a different perspective.
Our corporation (I'm not speaking for them, but I do work for
Seafirst Bank a wholly owned subsidiary of Bank of America) has a
distributed computing architecture standard that is all MS NTAS and
Win3.1 and WFW and since that has been established I have seen zero
NTAS servers go into production and alot of OS/2 DB/2 type servers as
well as hundreds of OS/2 workstations. The OS/2 platforms are being
used to solve problems and all our other several hundreds of Windows
boxes are going in just to 'go in' and not a single NT server has
been deployed, yet.
It's just kinda funny that people want to use MicroS**t products (and
we do alot for productive work) just because they are MS and they are
trying to invent solutions with them. The actual solutions based
implementations are going OS/2.
