>> Does "Help, I've fallen and I can't get up!" offer any ideas? … .. off the topic, but the phrase bugs me. I know it's become well known recently because of the TV commerical for medic alert devices, but I heard something like it about a dozen years ago, when Peggy Lee was playing Toronto. She had an injured leg, and had to perform sitting in a chair; as she opened, she said "I fell down and couldn't get up" – this was met by a tremendous ovation. Seemed to me the phrase must be known for something back then. Anybody know its history? If you can figure that one out, maybe next time I'll ask if anyone knows the point to "No soap – radio", the lions-in-the-bathtub story. First heard that over 40 years ago, and still don't get it. –Jim
