Hello all, I am posting this for a friend… For sale: THE EDITIZER, made by Tao Inc. A/B roll Edit Controller for use with a wide variety of machines, SEG's, audio mixers. This is a high quality machine controller that also creates, imports, and exports standard format edit lists (CMX format) ALL Sony, Pansonic, JVC, and more decks (and even "control L" camcorders like Sony's VX3) can be made seamlessly part of the system (from Beta Sp to "3/4"Sp to Hi-8 to S-VHS, to….). It supports RS-422, RS-232, Control L, and Pansonic AG 1970 VTRs. There are 3 time code readers, and 1 timecode generator. Will read LITC or VITC. It also controls digital video recorders. Switcher's controlled include: Pinnacle's ALLADIN, Echolab PC-3, Panasonic WJMX 30 and 50, Videonics MX-1, Hotronix AS-11, and New Tek's VIDEO TOASTER (2.0, 3.0 & 4000) The software interface allows true non-linear creation of the edit script by dragging and dropping defined "clips" from the LOG to either the TIMELINE or EDIT DECISION LIST. All the sophisticated list management functions (like cut , paste, block moves, etc.) that you expect from a much more expnesive edit controller are present. All electronics parts and cables as well as the latest software are included. Requires 386 or better PC running Windows 3.1 or later. This currently retails for $2495, My friend asking $1500.
