#DP 5 Drivers?
Hi Asha,
I've been looking at DP5 and haven't purchased it because it looked to me
that you need Magic Lantern to output 8-24 bit animations. You said it gives
the option to use your Picasso for output? Don't suppose it offered and
Opalvision output? When I finally got to talk to someone who supposedly knew
anything slightly technical about the programs capabilities, they told me it
only held the 24 bit data in memory and used Amiga modes. I would like to
retarget the display or animation to my Opalvision card. I know Magic Lantern
will do this and very well from what I understand. Perhaps these vendors should
bundle the two for package deal or something. Opalanimate is OK but it would
have been nice if it created an anim format that could be read by other
software. I haven't even been able to find out what anim format Opalanimate is
using. I sure isn't in the documentation.
