I think quadra composer 2.1 does what you wanted but you only get 4 tracks.octamed v5 does the same thing,and you can write 4 sound and upto 64 midi tracks.you may be able to get 8 channel voices but you lose the midi in capality in octamed.one way is to program the tracks 4 at a time in midi mode and then playback as an 8channel octamed module file.
