Oh yeah, I didn't mention the obvious terminations on the scanner end. But
yes, that has also been tried in every concievable combination. Same result.
I have spent hours on the phone with Migraph, who decided it was a GVP problem
and with GVP, right up 'til their last week of life, getting excellent support
but no answers. I have availed myself of Quantum's "FAX On Demand" customer
service and if you wnat to talk SERVICE man, THEY are happening! No solution.
I'm beginning to think it is a hardware problem related to my very early
mother-board (4.2 upgraded to 4.5, I think), but don't really want to buy
another computer if I don't have to to get this going. I need to know if
anyone has gotten a Migraph 2400 to work with a GVP Combo accelerator/scsi
controller with a Quantum 1080S on a 2000 w/4.5 mother board.
