#IFF overscan images
I'd like to run a video slide show from my Amiga-which I didn't think
would be difficult, but now I've down loaded close to a dozen IFF file viewers
and have yet to find one that works correctly.
What I'm looking for is a viewer that will run automatically and display
overscan pictures (interlace, low-res, HAM) correctly. Some reformat the
overscan image for display on a montior-which is what I _don't_ need. Most of
the others don't show a full overscan-a side to side, top to bottom video image
from the A520. The normal failure is to show a black bar at the top.
The only viewer that actually seems to work is an old viewer called
"si"-and only the original version. Later versions show the first picture
correctly, then a black bar at the top with all others-strange. I can't use the
early version of see because it doesn't auto run, though.
So does anyone know of a viewer that will do what I need?- oh, and it
should run on a 1.3 machine. So far I've tried ushow, si, show, dyna-show, iff,
fastview, megaview, superview, disp, and loadimage-and none will do what I
need.
