Hi Chuck, Here's another one. In the next few weeks I am going to be putting a 2 hour long video together. Not having sufficient hard drive space I plan to assemble it in chunks on the Flyer, then edit it to tape a piece at a time. Currently when you click on "play project", the system goes thru some busy work (for some indeterminate peiod of time), then starts playing the project. This makes it awfully hard to edit sections of Flyer material to tape. You just don't know (without a lot of trial and error) how long it takes from the time you press play, until the video actually starts. The solution to this would be to have a (lets call it "PREP COMMAND"). It could be a button or a hot key where as when you press it, the system does all its busy work (prepairing to play), then instead of playing, it goes into pause at the instant where play would begin. At this point, it could be waiting for a GPI trigger or just hitting the play button and "play would start instantly". I'm not sure what people are doing at the present time when faced with this situation. But I don't believe it can be easy or accurate. If such a function is deemed useful, I'm sure it would be easy for the programmers to implement. Thanks for your attention, Mike Mijal Westland Video Systems
