Tony,
Here is the trick. In the RECORD menu, select the NAME000 format of saving
RGB's. Then select 24bit TARGA. Click Save RGB images and give the name
"Q.TGA" to your file. The "Q" can be any letter. You might get a requestor
that tells you that you don't have permission to use the drive. If you do,
just click OK and click save again. You shouldn't get the requestor again.
I know it sounds wierd, but that is how I got it working. My guess is that the
PAR drivers look for a .TGA extension when you click the SAVE button (before
you actually render something). Since there is no way to turn off the
sequential numbering of LW, what Q.TGA gives you is Q.TGA000, which is eight
characters long (PERFECT!!). Render your animation, then rename the file in
your PAR software when it is done.
WHEW!!
Also — Make sure that you are rendering in the D2 aspect ratio (Camera Menu)
