I think you'd want to put up a new system unless you have 72 pin memory, which is 64 plus 8 parity bits. You'll want an adaptec SCSI host and Barracuda hard drive, assuming you don't have this either) OR less expensive E-IDE, but the largest now is only 1GB. That will change by this summer, as will the prices for a Pentium. I don't think I'd do a Pentium until the last minute before deciding on a NLE solution. Anyway, that's my strategy. I'm using a 486SX40 ISA with 16mb for DTV and that's plenty for linear. -jts
