#Videomaker Expo Review
I just returned from three days at the Videomaker Expo. I'm new to
video and was not at last years Expo. People I talked to said this
years was better than the first Expo last year.
I attended as many of the seminars as I could. I found them very
informative and the faculty very knowledgeable. My main complaint was
that many of the seminars were not long enough. Each one was an hour
long with a fifteen minute question period afterwards and only
fifteen minutes between seminars. Also if you attended all of the
days seminars and forums you were left with little time to roam the
exhibit floor. I was also surprised at the absence of some major
manufacturers. ( No Fault of Videomaker)
Other than these minor complaints I enjoyed the Expo and plan on attending next
year. I found the staff of Videomaker warm, friendly and knowledgeable. They
always had time to answer any questions no matter how simple or complex. I
think that Videomaker is to be commended for advancing the quality of video
done by home based videographers as well as educating and encouraging newcomers
into the field.
