No, you're correct. I didn't have the exact info at the time I posted, and have since seen that byte article you mention. I posted primarily because I feel this is an exciting development for the consumer who always has to deal with hardware/os decisions when chosing programs. Perhaps soon I can work in a Mac environment with Video/sound/multimedia- but if I need to create an animation- reboot with Windows NT (or even better just use an OS switcher/chooser) and run Lightwave 3D then boot back. If director really works better in the Mac environment, Macromedia could really optimize it without compromise because any CHRP machine could run it for the price of Mac OS system 8. Companies who wish to write on the Mac primarily would be free to do so without fear of marketshare problems. ditto for Mac appl. companies wishing to reach the windows market. Perhaps we'd no longer see some apps like Word on the Mac, but since accessing it would only be a few clicks away, no big deal. I guess I really just like the idea a lot. Reg harris
