My budget is $10,000 or less. I haven't commited to a platform yet. I'd like
to convert my analog video footage to digital edit it non-linearly, dump the
finished product back to video with some titles and perhaps a few effects, with
no glitchs or color bars, just good quality images. It doesn't have to be
broadcast quality (impossible on this budget).
I'd like informed recommendations.
While scanning my 4/95 issue of Digital Video Magazine, glean whatever info I
could from the ///FAST advertisements and Resellers descriptions. Of course, I
then noticed ///FASTs low end product line; i.e. Movie Line (which includes
Movie Machine Pro w/ Motion-JPEG Option, Adobe Premiere, Animator Pro and
XingCD authoring software. All for $995). Are you familiar with this product?
It sound great, but I like a confirmation from "2 or 3 witnesses."
Ive requested the manufacturers info, but until then Id appreciate some other
input.
