AVI utilities, NLE soft
Dear fellow DTVideographers,
I love to take things apart and put them together again.
Does anyone know of an AVI utility or suite which would break up an
uncompressed AVI file into its constituent parts (i.e. export each frame as a
DIB, using some naming algorithm like F0000001.BMP, etc.), and a corresponding
utility to "rehydrate" the AVI from the BMP frames?
I'm using my El Cheapo $99 capture card to "sample" video (640x480x24bits) at a
screaming .25 fps (i.e. a frame every 4 seconds), getting delightful results
under 3.11 and 95.
New to DTV, I was wondering what cool AVI tools are out there– anybody care to
start a thread on their favorite Swiss Army Knife for vid-soft?
