Henry, I use the full VM version, a 486/66 computer w/SVHS monitor, 2 AG1960
players and an AG1970 recorder – each with it own monitor. I have a CD player
installed in the computer and a Sony RX606ES tape deck. I use a TASCAM mixer
and separate equalizer when necessary. I use AG455 cameras. Total cost new
was was 11 to 12k. The computer has 8 meg ram and 2 540 meg WD hard drives.
Still not close to your figure. Was that price on the DDPR system with several
big hd's? Just curious.
