>>When I first won it I thought about trading it for Razor, but after playing with >>Premiere I starting to really like it. >>Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated. I have both Premiere and Razor Pro.. Razor Pro with TransJammer is really a cool cookie. I am useing it with the PAR.. I dont know how it will work with the DPS perception Video board.. but currently I can do realtime scraps of video on the PAR drive without any modifications.. While editing in Preimiere I noticed something.. You can have effects and multiple channelsin Premiere but it is difficult to see which effect is where. You also have to cut the clips to adjust where the effects begin and ends.. not so with Razor.. Adobes control of scaleing and flybys is superior.. The text editing is a little crude ( not very well integrated) but useful. Adobe also just has more of everything and a broader user base. This works for and against you.. You will always get more but not always more of what you need.. (they currently have no direct of the PAR) All in all you need to use both for different styles of editing.. but for me so far Razor being integrated directly with the PAR wins hands down and is the one I reach for first.. Combined with TransJammer by Elastic Reality and its really something. Bob from The Design Shop..
