Check out the Fast Video Machine/Video Machine Lite–while it doesn't
have built-in titling or animation software like the Toaster does,
it's capable of "printing to video" titles/animations you generate in
other programs (like your word processor!). It also has a built-in
edit controller and digital frame buffers (serves a similar function
as time base correctors), so you don't have to buy those separately.
