Don't know Word 5 offhand, but it occurs to me that Word/Mac has a "column"
option on the toolbar. Try clicking on that and set it up for 2 columns, and if
you need to put stuff across the page, set those up as headers and footers
(which, if I recall properly, can be set to separate pages…).
