As with any processor or System software upgrade, you will have to check with each vendor of additional cards, periphrials, and software about specific compatiblitlies. By now, most companies offer PPC upgrades for existing software/hardware that was not PowerPC compatible prior. These upgrades and their policies differ widely, so check with each vendor.
