Hi Ted,
First search the Imagine file library here. There are a number of Imagine
objects that can be found. Scan using the keywords "OBJ" or "IOB"
Next, GO COMANIM and scan using "DXF". There are quite a number of well
crafted objects from Viewpoint & other sources there ranging from human forms,
to an incredibly detailed naval destroyer.
After that, check the AMIGAARTS forum, 3D section. You'll find a large
selection of Imagine specific objects there.
Now with Andreys' 3DS-2-Imagine converter (for PC), you can check over in
AMMEDIA and scan using "mesh".
If you still want more, you can FTP to "avalon.vislab.navy.mil/pub/objects"
where you'll find a large repository of many different file formats, including
Imagine (denoted as TDDD in one directory).
Anothe FTP site is "wuarchive.wustl.edu". Check the Graphics &
System/Amiga/Aminet directories. Note, this is site is extremely active and
there is a limit to the number of annonymous FTP users making it difficult to
access many times.
You can also http to "http://www.aloha.com" and check out Sharky's links to
other 3D Websites.
I'm in the process of re-designing and adding links to my home page, when I do
I'll post the URL here for anyone who surfs the net.
