James >>1- Would I be able to create full screen 640×480 24bit animations from a series of TGA still frames with Premiere?<< Yes, Premiere can select single frame or a series of frames that are numbered sequencialy. >>2- What is D2 Quality?<< It is a type of video gear that has a very high quality video. Similar is concept as saying VHS quality or S-VHS quality. When it comes to accual specs, I don't know, it's the type of gear that the Big Networks use and is out of my needs and price range. >>3- How does the M-JPeg card interphase with the system? Would I play the animations through Premiere and the M-JPeg card would just speed up the display or does the card require special software?<< I can only speek for my card for sure (Fast, Movie Machine Pro). But it works with Microsofts Video for Windows. I can play any M-JPEG compressed AVI file to my monitor at 640×480 30fps or use Fast's Movie Studio software (that came with the card) to output the AVI movie directly to a TV or VCR. >>4 Do you think that Premiere is a good choice for creating 3D animations with sound or is it more oriented toward Multi-Media development?<< Premiere version 1.1 is better for multi-media, but the new version 4 is excelent for editing anything (animation, Movies, MusicVideos). And includes many filters and special efects that you find in Photoshop.(blur, ghosting, superemposing images, transition fading in and out of WAV files. Bill "Axoid" Rockhold
