GreG, I seem to be having a problem boning an arm…. ____________________________________ _ bone1———————>\ o \ smlsub1 | object axix ——–>o \ —–\——————————————————— | \ \ | \____\__________________________ | bone2———————–> / o / smlsub2| | /——/———————— ———————- | bigsub1 /___ /______________________ | | bone3———————>/ o / | smlsub3 bigsub2 | |—– |———————–|—————- | | ()()()() bigsub3 | | ———————————- ——————————– as you can see(kinda <g>)) I have boned and assigned subgroups for each bone. The object axis is the parent of bone1, bone1 is the parent of bone2 and bone2 is the parent of bone3. So It seems I have completed the boning process. The problem here is, I go to move the obect, for example, straightening the elbow, I'll go to group mode and choose bone2 and rotate on x, choose the object axis in group mode and update bones… nothing What the hell am I doing wrong? I've been working on this thing for hours, my brain is fried and I still haven't figured out what step I'm leaving out. Create bones, Group bones, create and assign big and small subgroups. Move bone and update…???? Help, Doug
