#SCSI CD-ROMS
Jim,
My brother has a cdrom that plugs into an scsi card and a sound blaster
pro that has a small cable that runs from the cdrom to the sound card.
There is space for a big cable for the cdrom drive to go to the sound
blaster but their cable doesn't fit. Instead it plugs into the scsi card.
They have the commands you listed in their autoexec/config.sys. when I
change to drive D I get "invalid drive specification" ie the computer isn't
recognizing the cdrom..any ideas? the cdrom is a taloon with 280 ms access
time. thanks,
Nancy
