Well…. I must admit: I haven't sent my payment for ConMan yet. And at
this point I don't even know where to send it, as I seem to have misplaced
the original distribution file.
How about if one of you SYSOPs compile a list of addresses for all the
regular shareware authors (for such programs as UEdit, ConMan, RRD, etc),
and either put it somewhere in the DL, or – better yet – put it in a
bulletin, with a reminder to all of us to pay our dues.
I think the reason why many of us haven't done so yet stems from laziness,
and not out of greed or being cheap. When you buy a commercial package
you're forced to pay for it up front, but for a shareware product you keep
saying 'Oh yes, I gotta write a check for this guy… I'll do it
tommorrow…' – Steve –
