Rick,
Yes, SVR3 (I presume that's what you meant) has virtual memory, and
yes, 4 meg of RAM is plenty for most stuff. At work, we have 7 AT&T 3B2-400s
(and 3 3B2-600s) and they only have 4 meg of memory. We run some major
databases on them and one of them also is set up for developement. They
almost never run out of memory and then even if they do…there's always the
swap partition.
