John, Growing up, I happened upon an experience which I would like to relate to you: In our little town, things were good. People were happy. There was room for all. In our little town there was a fellow who sold cottage cheese but did not sell sour cream (he was a representative of the cottage cheese company and sold his cheese to local merchants). Things were good for this fellow. He was happy. His friend for many years had the sour cream route and he also, did very well. He too was happy. All was well. But, one day his friend who sold sour cream decided that the opportunity for selling cottage cheese AND sour cream to the merchants of our little town was just too good to pass up. So, the sour cream sales man started selling cottage cheese. What could the poor cottage cheese salesman do but pick up a line of sour cream so that he could maintain his ability to attract, keep, and service his customers? So he did. And saddness descended upon our little town. You see, our little town was juuuuust big enough to support a sour cream salesman. And a cottage cheese salesman. But it was juuuust a little too small to support TWO cottage cheese and sour cream salesmen. In the ensu- ing difficulties, both men lost their companies. Do you get my meaning, John? Charlie knows what he's doing. Perry
