Hmm.. since CDTV is a stand-alone unit, why not use it in places other than the home? The first thing that comes to my mind is cars. How about a CDROM with the map (in very high details) of an area like DC where you could call up virtually any street, apt #, address, telephone, etc. It would be like a yellow pages/while pages/map guide all in one. That would be quire err, quite useful for people who drive around a bit. Another would be a CDROM that covers all of the US with all interstates and other routes. I think there are programs out there that do this kind of job, but it should really be in-car rather than a desktop application. I think that CDTV sounds like a real nice unit to have in the car. (grin) I can think up lots of other ideas but I'll stop here. (had to put my 2 cents' worth in 🙂 Khalid.
