Kevin, Parents in our community frequently pay tutors $20-25 per hour to help their kids with math, grammar, and science. I believe that interactive tutoring material that would cover the same territory covered in a given textbook would certainly be attractive to many parents. Having such material available would give a good feeling to those who really bought it for entertainment, anyway. Most states (certainly Texas does) prescribe a certain body of facts to be covered in each grade and in each subject. The Texas contract for textbooks, being statewide, is so huge that it has tremendous influence on the content of the nation's textbooks. I'm thinking of the kind of things that can be developed with AMigaVision, but could then be put onto the CDTV for the kids to use. It would follow the textbook explicitly, but give extra/better/more interesting coverage than the textbook alone could do – much as a good private tutor would do. ……Betty
