Exactly…in fact, in my spare time…that's exactly what I was going to do. It'd move it into ':TrashCan' (and create that directory if it didn't exist), warn about overwrites of existing files in the trash, and also note that if the parent directory was 'TrashCan'…it'd really delete the file (in other words…really empty the trash). Obviously the user has to play a part in this….they've got to keep an eye on disk usage, and clean up as it gets too full. I figure that's a fair trade-off for the peace of mind (for those that want it) of having a "safe" delete command, with an absolute guarantee of recovery as long as you don't empty the trash.
