Perhaps they expect everything to be done under AmigaVision? And that's why there's the database connection in it? Y'know, there's a few pieces of the puzzle still missing here, and one of them is: where's the big announcement about running the CDROM/CDTV stuff on your regular Amiga? Is this planned? Or shall we pay $1000 + expansion costs to get another A500 with a cdrom drive? Come to think of it, I don't recall CBM themselves actually coming out and stating that you could develop for CDTV using regular Amigas, either. We've assumed it. I'd love to be corrected on this. Somebody? Umm, just thought of something else: many developers will almost certainly consider a cdrom app to be within its rights to take over the machine! After all, we're talking _one_ disc working at a time in a stock home player, eh? That may not bode well for using these discs in a normal multitasking Amiga personal computer setup. I hope that CBM keeps an eye on their developers.
