Don, Perhaps a map could be displayed on a heads up display (HUD) on your windshield. Fighter pilots use a system like this every day so they don't have to look down at there instruments and possibly loose visual contact with an enemy. I would want to see some good studies done though to make sure it was safe. If you were totally lost the system would not work, but if you had a cursor showing present position (assuming an accurate Nav System) then you would only have to glance quickly at the map to update yourself on where exactly you were. <<<< Michael Shea >>>> <<<< 76665,3360 >>>>
