very fast animated transition (I peeled another graphic off of the logo,
just like on TV!)
Anyway, my "normal" computing needs only require simple data basdes, simple
spread sheets, and moderately powerful word processiing. I have all that
on Amy. In addition, I have ProPage, ProDraw, etc. for DTP, and they do
everything I need in that area, both to PostScript at work, and my 9 pin at
home. I have MIDI, with all the bells an whistles I need, as well, and
make a lot of use of the 4 voice synth built into the Amiga for both music
and sound effects in real time.
I'm sure if I went out and spent $6-$10K on a MAC system, I could beat the
Amiga in some of these areas, but I really can't thik of a compelling
reason to do that. 🙂
