A lot of Amiga developers are also making products for the IBM market, and
one of the primary reasons for us has been the lack of support anywhere at
CBM except the technical people, who (as I've said many times) are pretty
wonderful. CBM has made it clear to us, at least, that they don't give a
rats hindquarters for anyone but themselves.
Now, I'm at haste here to point out that my opinion of NewTek is pretty
low as far as corporate attitude – only one company still existing in the
Amiga market ranks lower than NewTek in that way – but it is clear to us
that CBM has almost EVERYTHING to learn when it comes to supporting
developers; we have no confidence that they will do so.
