I have a somewhat tenuous understanding based on my interpretation of Dave
Haynies comments on PLink some time ago that the A3000 was built with the
68040 in mind and will slide nicely into incorporating the chip's advanced
features when the '040 becomes available in quantity.
Note that my interpretations may well be wrong. But I hope not.
