The rules are very liberal. I see no reason why the anim must be only
runnable in realtime…as long as it is an Amiga anim. I suspect we will be
seeing some very vast anims, some in 24 bit, some from syquest, some
requiring massive ram and 2 megs of chipram..and that's ok. But those
technical factors will only count so far..creativity has equal weight with
the AW staff. It's fully concievable the winner could be someone whose anim
was created on an A500 with one meg…and it could also end up being a 5
gigabyte anim that requires a sony optical drive. No matter what, as long
as it's an Amiga anim, it can be entered. We just want to make an animation
video that represents to everyone, the Amiga users as well as the general
public, what an outstanding machine the Ami is…and I think we will.
