Walt & Karen: With the new video modes coming out soon, you may want to opt for a mulit-sync monitor. You could get a cheap amplifier and small speakers (maybe Bose 101's). This won't have NTSC input though, but you'll be able to see the higher scan rate modes. Many librarys carry 1 or more PC magazines, and they will often have comparison reviews on monitors. I haven't been in the monitor market for about a year, so I'm not up on the current models. Unfortunately Zenith hasn't come out with a multi-sync version of their flat screen VGA monitor yet. That thing makes the display look like a backlit slide. Paul
