Bruce, No, not yet. I had the idea in mind when I started but I needed to just get the mature trees working first. The most likely upcoming features will be a yet more detailed version, animated trees, refined seasonal control to animated over a full year, a true aging process and of course more types. To animate a growing tree, I would have to write the whole 3DS file from a stand alone program. The biggest problem would be on how the objects would be handled. It would be very tough to morph and add new objects. It would be a very very large file if every frame was a seperate object. The fastest method might use an AXP to grow the tree over a segment. The AXP method would then need to generate the tree for each frame of the animation weather the tree was visible or not, so animation time would greatly increase. If you have any ideas let me know. Keith.
