I spoke to our "font expert" and here's what he had to say:
The FontBBox is normally referenced by an Adobe font and is usually used
when downloading the ps font to the printer. We don't download ps fonts,
we send info either as curves or as bitmaps. And, since it is the driver
that converts the TrueType font to Type1 format, this question doesn't
really apply to CorelDRAW.
Two different non-Adobe PS devices that we've used are Newgen and Pacific
Page – there appeared to be no problems with using them and our fonts.
