Tim, The top gadget indicates what is allocated to system ram, ram which the Mac uses. You should probably set the gadget on the left for all expansion ram, then set the mac ram gadget to what you want to allocate. How much memory and what kind do you have in your system? Do you have the MMU locked by Enforcer? If so, you want to turn Enforcer off. The problem with ram allocation is that ram in the Amiga doesn't have to be in continguous locations, but it does for the Mac. If you have a total of 4 meg of ram, but some of that is chip, while some is fast, then the Mac only "sees" whatever is contiguous. Are you running 2.04 or 1.3? If you are running 1.3, be sure to run fastramfirst in your startup sequence. What kind of accelerator do you have? Is it a new GVP Series II? If so, you may have the EC version of the 030, which does not have an MMU. Give me some more specifics so I can understand how your system is structured.
