I'm an Amiga dealer, and I authorized when it required a 30k cash bond, and lots of authorization hassles. Now, as long as the market isn't saturated, they will give most decent operations an authorization for the asking! However, since the Amiga market is much smaller than the PC and MAC markets, if you get too many people selling them, but not supporting them, that dealers that have invested time and money in spare parts, training, support, etc. will have a hard time supporting a shrinking market. That's one way to make good dealers throw in the towel.. Amiga stuff is less than 7 percent of the total sales in our store, but I'm hanging in there hoping CBM will come out with some IMPRESSIVE products that can compete in this country… If not, it's going to be a great vertical market system… But is that enough to keep a company the size of CBM looking at the U.S. Market?
